Please confirm you are working on a resolution I originally inquired about.... I purchased both SendSMS as well as SimpleText from SugarOutfitters... SendSMS was refunded and SimpleText's current instruction manual is out of date as a result of Sugar's Enterprise update to 8.3...
I am hoping for guidance by the end of business today.

Got it, wish I'd know this bc the SugarOutfitters site says it's compatible with Professional but sounds like the capability is limited... Sugar has been talking about removing the legacy workflows for 5 years now and I really need to get this launched...
Are you guys able to write the logic hook? If so, at what cost?

I have it firing manually but the whole point was to use it in workflows . Problem is that their instructions for use in workflows is about the professional version not on demand. I played with it a little and it looks like I will have write a ton of new workflows in the new sms module because the workflow change in on demand has not taken place despite the 5 year threat... lol
For real, is there a way to add an alert in an existing leads module workflow that targets an associated module or dashlet?

Thank you for contacting SugarCRM Support. The steps provided reference Process Definitions which are not available for Professional edition of Sugar. Given the steps provided it looks like this is a necessary requirement given that the phone number is being dynamically populated by the workflow based on the related Account record. Legacy Workflows do not have this functionality.
This may technically be possible using a Studio formula field but I cannot guarantee that this will work. You may want to reach out to this SMS integration provider to see if there is a Legacy Workflow alternative.

I have not registered with them and am really just looking for a recommendation on a fairly priced gateway where I can use my Verizon mobile account.
