Given the fact that the whole idea is to build dashboard templates that can be distributed out to teams, it seems only logical that the users who are on the receiving end of the template, should have access to "their" data and not the data of the user who created the template. So for example, I created a Calls dashlet that has a simply filter. The first filter simply shows "My Items" and the 2nd is for the "Status" = to Planned. This is a simple example, but one that should show the call records for the user that is logged in, but it doesn't. When I configure the dashlet as one of the users for which this template is deployed, that filter that was created in the template does not exist, there is no filter at all.... If I simply choose the "My Calls" filter, then I have no ability to filter the list any further, which sorta makes it pointless.... I have attempted to attach an image of that dashlet filter here, hopefully it came through.
So this works when I create the template from the original user. But when I load that template and deploy it to a user, the filter does not carry through. For example, I have a filter that is set for Calls that shows "My Items" AND "Status" is Planned, however, once deployed to the user, the template is successfully deployed, but NONE of the filters come through with it. PLEASE HELP.
