Thank you for your reply. We checked our PHP version and it is an older version of PHP, version 5.4.45. We run SugarCRM 22.214.171.124 and are in the process of moving to another server. Soon it will run on a platform with PHP version 5.6
As I am a PHP developer myself I took a look at the error message and noticed the problem was caused by a call to the constructor of the parent class. The strange thing however is that there is a discrepancy between the developer documentation of SugarCRM 7.8.x and the official PHP documentation on how to call the constructor of the parent class.
The SugarCRM developer documentation recommends using "parent::Basic()" as a way to call the constructor.
But PHP recommends to use "parent::__construct()" to call the constructor.
Long story short: I unzipped the installer, changed the parent::Basic() call to parent::__construct() and made a new zip. I installed this on our SugarCRM instance and it seems to work.
I hope my input is of any help to you. Could you please review these changes and if you agree with them put these in your module, because we would rather use a working WebToModule installer from you directly so you can officially support it.
We will test the module in the coming weeks. In case we encounter other problems we will let you know.

Been on holidays and busy etc. Sync does not seem to work. It works for a little while, but then it stops again. Straight question: is this going to like that all the time. Looking at other support tickets syncing seems to be a common issue with this module. Also new Mailchimp leads do not sync back to sugar.
Any ideas what the problem could be?

Our developer has look at the installation script.
There seems to be a post install script which doesn’t run, however there is a post execute file which does run.
Have you tested the installation on SugarCRM Enterprise, Version 188.8.131.52 (Build 1163)?

Followed all the instructions and it still doesn’t work.
Error : Arthur Balabrega is not assigned Social2Sugar license. Please contact your SugarCRM administrator.
Sugar (clean install SugarCRM Enterprise, Version 184.108.40.206 Build 1163):
Social2Sugar License Configuration it won’t save the assigned user.

In Admin panel > Social2Sugar License Add-on (where you entery the license key) you have to nominate which user should have te license assigend to. When moving one user to the right pane and hit save, it would store the changes made.
