Introduction

Allows users to use and change Runtime Filters for Saved Reports directly in the Saved Reports Dashlet. It supports adding the same Report in several dashlets with different Run Time Filters set. This reduces the number of Reports needed as same report can be used by several users, with the change of the Run Time Filter to support the specific logged in user.

In Sugar you have the ability to define Run Time Filters on Reports, meaning you can change the filter condition on the fly on the saved Reports. This allows the user to get different datasets for the same report, minimising the amount of Reports needed to be created. However, the ability to do this is not present in the Saved Reports Dashlet out-of-the-box, which means that If you require dashlets with access to the same number of datasets that you can get with the Runtime Filter directly in the Reports module you still need to create different reports and put them into different dashlets. This plugins adds the ability to use and change the runtime filters defined on the saved Reports and thereby keeping the amount of Reports and Dashlets needed down.

For example, now you can empower your sales department by being able to quickly view sales figures by varying criteria between different sales teams or make it easier for executives to more quickly get an overview over the state of the business.
